The Power of Chocolate Fitness

I bet you never thought you would see these 2 words side by side and in the same sentence. The funny thing is that in some ways these two words are very similar; yes chocolate AND fitness share some similar traits.

In this article, I am not only going to share why chocolate and fitness are comparable, but also explain how to choose the healthier option and never miss chocolate again (I’ll explain)!

To start off, I want to share what I mean when I say chocolate and fitness are similar. Both of these words trigger similar emotions and feelings, including:

Release Endorphins – both chocolate AND fitness increase the endorphins released into your brain. These endorphins release a calming, happy emotion and decrease your levels of stress.

Unity- both chocolate AND fitness give us something to bond about. Whether you are giving your Valentine a box of chocolates or sweating it out with your team, you are sharing an experience.

Now that you know what the similarities are, next time you are stressed (oh hello competition season) or want a piece of Valentine’s Day chocolate, you now know that you can swap that candy bar for a workout!
