Chassé Youth Leaders Fund FAQ

What is the Youth Leaders Fund?
The Youth Leaders Fund is a program developed and launched by Chassé in 2014. The program is part of our Cheer For The Cause® initiative, which charges our company with finding ways to support, and give back to, the cheerleading industry. The Youth Leaders Fund establishes a bank of $1,000,000 worth of grants available per calendar year to eligible youth cheerleading organizations in good standing. Eligible youth cheerleading organizations can apply for a chance to receive a total of three (3) discounts off of their order subtotal of Chassé products when they order through Omni Cheer®.

 

Who can apply to receive a grant?
Any youth organization that meets the eligibility requirements detailed on the application form may apply to receive a grant. Retail stores or team sponsors are not eligible to apply. Each team, individual or organization must fill out an application on his or her own. Individuals that are part of an eligible organization may apply, as long as they provide all information that is required on the application.

 

Can international organizations apply for a grant?
No, only organizations with a US mailing address are eligible for grants at this time.

 

The application is asking for an Omni Cheer email or account number. Where do I find this?
If you are currently an Omni Cheer customer with an online account, you should use the email that you enter to log in. Once you have logged in, visit “My Account” and look in the top right corner, above the pink line, to find your customer number.

 

Can I apply for the grant if I am not a current Omni Cheer customer?
Yes, you can apply to receive a grant if you are not a current Omni Cheer customer. If you are approved for a grant, an Omni Cheer account will be created for you using the email address that you provide on your application. You will receive instructions that detail your account information for you.

 

How are grant recipients selected?
Grant recipients are selected based on eligibility and availability of funds, at the sole discretion of Chassé.

 

How will I know if I was selected to receive a grant?
If selected to receive a grant, an email will be sent to you from youthleadersfund@chassecheer.com. Please be sure to add that email address to your contacts, so that your notification does not go into your spam box. This email will include instructions on how to apply your one-time discounts to your order. Applications may take up to 2 weeks to process.

 

What exactly do I receive if I am selected?
Selected grant recipients will receive the opportunity to apply three (3) discounts to their order of Chassé products, purchased through Omni Cheer, throughout the calendar year. Orders placed between April 15, 2015 – May 31, 2015 can apply a 20% off discount to ONE order placed in this timeframe. Orders placed between June 1, 2015 – July 18, 2015 can apply a 15% off discount to ONE order placed in this timeframe. Orders placed between July 19, 2015 – December 31, 2015 can apply a 10% off discount to ONE order placed in this timeframe.

Grants are not distributed, nor are redeemable, in the form of cash or check. Recipients will not receive a check or money order for their team. They will receive their discount code to apply to future orders of Chassé apparel through Omni Cheer.

Recipients are not required to use their grant for any specific order, and grants are not automatically applied to any order. To use their grant, recipients must notify their Omni Cheer sales representative that they want to apply it at the time of their order. Grants cannot be applied to previous orders or orders that have been processed.

 

If I am not selected to receive a grant, will someone let me know?
Yes, all applicants will receive a notification informing them if their grant application has been approved or denied.

 

Can I apply for a grant more than once in a calendar year?
Yes, but you may only be rewarded one grant per calendar year. If you applied for a grant but were not selected to receive one, you may reapply at another time in the calendar year if your team’s situation or needs have changed.

 

Which items are eligible to receive a discount?
Any in-stock Chassé product will be eligible to receive a discount (excluding megaphones, and products marked as clearance or closeout, as determined by Omni Cheer). This includes, but is not limited to in-stock: uniform tops, uniform bottoms, printed tees and tanks, body basics, shoes, socks, hair bows, warm-up jackets, warm-up pants, pom poms, bags, practice tops and bottoms, and accessories.

If your Omni Cheer order includes products from other brands (including, but not limited to: Nike, Soffe, Adidas, Asics, Kaepa, Reebok, Power, Zoe Athletics, and Ion Cheer), those brands will not be discounted, and will be charged the full, current price (as deemed by Omni Cheer).

 

Will sublimated uniforms receive a discount?
Yes, the base cost of Chassé sublimated uniforms will receive the grant discount. If your sublimation design includes custom artwork, you may incur additional fees that are not eligible to receive the grant discount.

 

Will customized items receive a discount?
If you choose to add customization to your items, the price of customization will not be included in your discounted subtotal. The discount will only apply to the subtotal of the blank, in-stock Chassé products. Custom poms are not eligible for a discount.

 

How do I purchase my Chassé product?
You can order Chassé apparel through our exclusive, preferred distributor Omni Cheer by calling them at the number below. Online orders are not currently eligible for grant purchases.

How do I use my grant?

Orders must equal $200 – before tax, shipping & handling, and customization – to qualify for use of a grant.

Recipients are not required to use their grant for any specific order, and grants are not automatically applied to any order. To use their grant, recipients must notify their Omni Cheer sales representative that they want to apply it at the time of their order.

Grants cannot be applied to previous orders or orders that have been processed.

Grant discount is applied before tax, shipping & handling and customization. Customization cost is not eligible for the grant discount. Sublimated uniforms are eligible, but if a sublimated uniform order includes custom art fees, the discount will not be applied to those fees.

 

Can I give my grant code to someone else to use?
No, your grant code is unique to your Omni Cheer account and is non-transferrable.

 

Can I apply my grant to an online order?
No, online orders are not currently eligible for grant purchases. You can order Chassé apparel through our exclusive, preferred distributor Omni Cheer by calling them at 1.800.299.7822.

 

How many grants are available?
Grant recipients are selected based on eligibility, and funds are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The fund allows for $1,000,000 worth of grants to be awarded. Once that fund has been exhausted, no more grants will be awarded for the calendar year.

 

Will my grant expire?
Yes. Your grant for 20% off will expire on May 31, 2015 at 11:59 pm PT. Your grant for 15% off will expire on July 18, 2015 at 11:59 pm PT. Your grant for 10% off will expire on December 31, 2015 at 11:59 pm PT. These expirations are regardless, and independent, of when you applied for the grant or when you received your code. If you place an order after the expiration date, the discount will not be accepted.

 

Can I combine my grant with other offers or promotions?
Recipients may combine their grant with other Omni Cheer offers, including, but not limited to, free shipping and packages. Order must meet Omni Cheer qualifications for offers to be applied. Offer availability is subject to change at any time.
