5 steps to for the summer body you’ve been dreaming of!

  1. Eat Right!- Food is the fuel that keeps you going and gives you the energy you need to get through a tough workout. This means eating lots of fresh fruit and plenty of vegetables. An interesting tip is to eat by color. This means selecting foods you are drawn to based on their colors. This way you can fuel your body with the foods it truly needs.   2. Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate!!- Water is essential before, during and after working out. Water is the best thing to refuel and cool you down, so drink up! Keep a water bottle with you throughout the day to help beat the summer heat.
  3. Cardio- Enjoy a nice run or walk during the warm summer months to help burn excess calories. Any body movement you take is good for you. So remember to stay agile and keep moving!
  4. Tone your muscles- Building muscle makes you stronger so you can hit that stunt or land that tumbling skill. Lifting weights, along with cardio will help you stay solid, strong, and in shape.
  5. Find a workout you love!- Working out should be fun, so find something that interests you. There are many ways to work out, including running, yoga, swimming, hiking, and the list goes on.
